Upcoming Races

Geraldine Saturday – 6 December

  • Race 4 - 13:22
Rock Lobster, No.15 - John Dunn
Made ground in big field last time. Never far away of late. Look for her to be running on again.
  • Race 6 - 14:22
Tyrons Strapping Lad, No.6 - John Dunn
Last start run just ok after racing parked the last lap. New to grass track racing, but a top 4 hope in a big field.
  • Race 8 - 15:24
Double Time, No.6 - Carter Dalgety
Ran on ok last time after a good run at Addington on Show Day. Strong lineup here and top 4 best.
  • Race 8 - 15:24
Its Tough, No.4 - John Dunn
In super form before getting too far back in strong Christian Cullen field last time. This looks more his go and if he steps, he looks a great top two chance.
  • Race 10 - 16:34
    I Dream Of Jeannie, No.9 -
Huge run against the mares last time out beating a quality field. This looks no tougher and she is a great eachway hope again.

Addington Friday – 28 November

  • Race 3 - 18:13
Flying Dreams, No.6 - John Dunn
Really good effort in strong fillies race last week after making a mistake. A filly with a motor and if she can trot all of the way she looks a great eachway prospect.
  • Race 7 - 20:09
One Over Da Line, No.9 - Hayden Douglas
So consistent this time in and really genuine in all of his runs. Nasty draw to overcome here, but if he gets a bit of luck, he is again a top three hope.
  • Race 9 - 21:07
Bryces Meddle, No.5 - Riley Harrison
Tough run last week and only bettered late in the piece. Manners should see him again in a good spot and he is a top three hope.
  • Race 9 - 21:07
Follow Your Dream, No.10 - Bob Butt
Capped a consistent run of form with nice win here last week. Goes back 10m here, but with the right run is a top 4 hope again.
  • Race 9 - 21:07
Dance Till Dawn, No.13 - John Dunn
Good run on cup day and may not have backed up in mares race on Show Day. The work at home has been good and a better run is expected. Tough off the 20m all the same in such a strong field.
  • Race 10 - 21:39
Tyrons Strapping Lad, No.2 - John Dunn
Great to see him trot so well at Rangiora and get the job done. He appears suited by the shorter trip at this stage and if he steps well looks a great eachway chance again.

Alexandra Park Friday – 28 November

  • Race 1 - 17:56
Bruntwood Brigade, No.3 - Jacob Dunn
Some really nice runs of late and gets a good draw to use again here. A top 3 chance in quite an open lineup.
  • Race 1 - 17:56
Dave Duley, No.7 - Peter Ferguson
Not so well served in the draw this time and will need to find plenty of improvement on his recent efforts to feature. Rough top 4 hope.
  • Race 6 - 20:29
    Bravehearthighlander, No.6 - Jacob Dunn
Unlucky to cop a significant check last week when travelling really well. Meets a talented lineup here, but does seem to thrive in these better fields. A definite eachway chance.

Methven Sunday – 30 November

  • Race 11 - 17:25
Mighty Logan, No.10 - John Dunn
Really good races through Cup Week without a lot going his week. He does have a tricky draw to contend with here, but if the pace is on and he gets the bit of luck that he is needing, he can be right in this.

Motukarara Sunday – 25 November

  • Race 4 - 13:29
    Pasternak, No.13 - John Dunn
A bit off of late and niggly draw here. Top 4 chance at his best.
  • Race 6 - 14:40
Rock Lobster, No.16 - John Dunn
Running some nice races and a lot more consistent of late. Top three chance.
  • Race 7 - 15:12
Mikis Courage, No.2 - Riley Harrison
Very consistent and a good run at Addington on cup day. Looks really well placed as a top 3 chance.
  • Race 8 - 15:47
Hoof It Hagrid, No.4 - John Dunn
Going really well before the miss on cup day. Looks to get in really well here and is a great eachway chance.
  • Race 11 - 17:03
Very Majestic, No.11 - John Dunn
Really good run on Show Day. Even field here but a definite Top 3 hope.
